Nimrim (Nim´rim)

A desert stream. The waters of Nimrim are said to be desolate (Isa 15:6; Jer 48:34). They are identified as those of either Wadi en-Numeira, on the east side of the Dead Sea near its southern end, or the Wasi Shu‘eib, seven miles north of the Dead Sea.

Isa 15:6

6the waters of Nimrim
are a desolation;
the grass is withered, the new growth fails,
the verdure is no more.

Jer 48:34
